Shooting for a magazine
This set of photographs is a selection from the final project of a semester long course in architectural photography. The assignment was to photograph a building inside and out in an attempt to capture the spirit of the building as if the images would be used in an architectural publication.
The building photographed is the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. The hotel was designed by Schultze and Weaver, the leading hotel architects of the 1920′s, and was completed in 1926. The hotel is still in use today as a luxury hotel and earned the designation of a National Historic Landmark in 1996.
